What's the strangest habit you've ever encountered in a mouse?

[Lime Green Mouse]

When I worked in an animal lab with breeder mice, there was this one sentinel Swiss Webster mouse that would jump up on the top wires of the cage and monkey bar in circles round and round with just her front paws.  It was really weird and insanely cute.

Every now and then one of the sentinel mice would get shipped out for health tests, and a new mouse would come in.  The monkey bar one would then teach THAT one how to hang and go in circles, and when I came in each day they'd all start doing it for me.  My boss kept that mouse around, and right up until the day I left the job, she was still teaching new sentinels how to go in little circles hanging by their front paws.

There are a ton, but one was when one of my mice, Cinnamon, kept taking  bedding out of the hut and then sleeping out of the hut, but not on the extra bedding. When my other mouse, Sugar tried putting it back, Cinnamon got back up and pulled it all out again.

I just got my mouse and she does that too! (pushing the bedding out of her house!) it's fascinating to watch her make sure she pushes out every single piece of her bedding lol
